    More airgun..

Have I mentioned I love this place? I posted after we replaced the seals in the airgun I inherited from Bill. jb mentioned he had found one he (probably?) had as a youth. Happened to be identical to the one I had.. I loved that thing. I've come to the age where "the one that got away" means guns - not women. I tried to make a deal - but I couldn't beat the one he offered. He just sent it to me. Told me to donate the postage to something "wildlife".. I'll match it and do that. We don't have any strip clubs within 60 miles so I'll go with Izaak Walton. This week end.. cleaned it - lubed it and put it together. You can not believe how "natural" this thing feels even after 600000 (okay 60) +/- years. It's missing a back sight - and from what I've found it must be a "high break" item. May have to have one manufactured.. but it's in the works. Crosman V-350. Cocks by sliding the barrel back into the action.. I'm happy.. Thank You Jerry

If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.

I think the squirrels disagree with JBs generosity.

But rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...WOW, What a Ride!"
