    New toy

Finally got the new boat we ordered last summer.

We got a 23’ tri-toon. It must mean I’m getting old because only old people have pontoons.

Nice!!! Now all you have to do is move down here where you can use it year-round.

Awesome. What's the plans with it? Tubing, fishing, just lake hanging? All the above?

All of the above. I put a 200 hp Yamaha on it so the water sports will not be an issue.

Wow! That thing looks bigger than all my apartments in college put together. If the pontoons mean you're riding into middle age at least you're doing so in a big way. 😊

I rented a tri-toon a couple years ago. waaaaayyy better than a traditional pontoon. That was with a 125 outboard so yours should GIT IT!

This is a Manitou and the cool thing with them is that they have a patented shape on their toons and the middle one is larger in diameter than the outside ones so when you’re cruising, you’re really only riding on the center tube so there is a lot less drag. They turn a lot better at speed too.

That's what I noticed the most. When turning in a regular pontoon that outside hull could dig in. Not an issue in the tri. Have fun with that bad boy in your 3 weeks of summer!
