I believe the trick is to shoot for EARLY departures on NON-STOP flights. I feel, the flight delays/cancellations happen once the system is put into motion and by the afternoon, things start to back up. It makes sense, but that's JMHO ...and considering the flight to Minneapolis I had Lynn booked on (which has been cancelled) was departing Tampa at 8:00 am and was non-stop to arrive at 10:11 AM, and since she now won't arrive until 2:40 pm, it blows my theory all to Hell!
