    Getting my money’s worth …

I’m at my local Mercedes dealer having the motor home serviced before our big trip next month. Man-o-man, they have a regular dang restaurant in the waiting room. All gratis. I’m glad I didn’t eat breakfast before I came in, ‘cause I’m about to put them out of business! Of course, I haven’t seen my bill yet.

While sitting here, I decided to pick up an extra quart of oil to carry with me on our travels, just in case. Dang, it even came with a nice, cloth carrying bag. I may go buy a spare turn-signal bulb and snag another one.

Ha! I need to go back and eat some more. I told them to just give me a simple oil change and to throw a new fuel filter in while they’re at it. I told them not to try selling me all that extra bullshit to pad the ticket as I wasn’t due yet, but just wanted to start out with a fresh service before our trip.

Frigging oil and filter plus fuel filter. Just paid the tab. $588.91 !!! Jeeesus H. Keeerist! And they had no masks or guns!

When you’re living Mercedes level high on the hog you have to expect a good rogering every now and then.
