Wow! There’s a point that extends out into the lake, directly behind my campsite. I walked out there first thing this morning and just sat there for an hour or so. Completely silent except for the breeze through the trees, the squirrels “talking” to me and the birds doing their thing. Nobody else here. Here’s the view from where I’m sitting right now. Not bad for $10/night with full hook-ups!

Yeppers, the color change is starting. Here’s tonight’s spot on the Mississippi. We’re in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and will be heading out tomorrow for a couple days in Memphis.

Yeah, we have a ton of food pics, but a bunch are on my phone, a bunch on Lynn’s phone, a pile on my brother’s phone and even more on my sil’s phone. It’ll take a while to get them sent and organized!

We’re just now pulling out of my sister’s place to head back to Florida. My brother left for California yesterday. It’s been a fun trip.

Decided to go into truck driver mode and drove a little over 700 miles today. Sitting in a truck stop right now waiting for a wash job. 6000 miles of road grime on this rig ain’t pretty! Still gots about 40 miles to get home.
