    Wonder how often this happens

The boy came over Friday night to spend some family time (it was family weekend at ASU) and headed back late Friday. He had to help set up for the parents day party and was catching an uber from his dorm to the frat house. On the way the uber rear ended another car. He's fine and just has a minor concussion but we spent about 7 hours in the ER getting him checked out.

They obviously happen. If it was a legitimate rideshare, Uber’s insurance covers it. The Uber driver’s personal insurance covers accidents when not on official business. There are now a ton of ambulance chasers out there who specialize in the rideshare litigation (Uber, Lyft, etc).

Thanks - fellas. It was a legitimate uber trip and I'm sure that will be a PITA getting our insurance and theirs to work together.

Glad to hear the lad is okay. And very lucky. Did any numbers come into his head when he took that blow by any chance? Just DM them to me. There should be 5 numbers.

The Thai word for the number five is “ha”. I’ll give you a number … ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
