Lots of talent just never played up to it. I think it had more to do with Barry Odom's scheme on defense than Nichols, he'll get after the qb. Odom like to run a 3-3-5 which basically puts three down lineman being blocked by five O-linemen. In a 4 down lineman scheme I think he'll do very well.
Card just needs to be turned loose and not yanked every time he makes a bad throw

I've never been a big Briles fan so my opinion may be somewhat biased. I don't know if we'll do better or not but it's obvious he wanted out of Fayetteville. Hogs gave him a raise to turn down Mississippi state and in less than two weeks he entertains an offer from TCU. Kinda have to question his loyalty. Personally I say, don't let the door hit you on your way out.
