Climate hysteria is getting frantic. Global roasting is next.

We’re actually having a pretty normal summer. I know other places are hot AF though. Cacti falling over dead in Arizona. The ocean water in the gulf of Mexico is hot. Ocean currents falling apart from the heat.
It might be time to remind mother nature of her resourcefulness. Or maybe remind humanity what humility is.

I believe in global warming, it's called summer

I believe in global cooling as well, it's called winter

everything in between is called global fishing time

That's surface temp Johnboy, and that was short-lived and just a couple of small spots. Nothing new here. It's just a frigging heat wave. During July - September it's common for the water temp in the Gulf of Mexico to be warmer than the air temp. When the air temp is in the high 90's, guess what? Actually, the Gulf temps have been running in the low to mid 90's lately and were "down" to 88 on Friday (haven't checked this weekend). The ocean waters rotate in a clockwise motion. That's why the Pacific is cold and the Atlantic is warm in this country. Here in Florida, our ocean water rotates up from the South ... as in equatorial waters. On the left coast, the water rotates down from areas like Alaska. Yeah, it's a hot summer but tbh, I haven't really noticed the difference between this and any other summer, other than the fact this heat wave lasted longer than normal.

I really don't think we have that much control over this "global warming" frenzy. I read an article years ago about the press riding the return of the ice age theory back around 1900. In the 30's, the press was at it again and warning us that the melting polar ice caps were about to flood the continent. When I was a kid (late 50's), we were again warned of the return of the ice age. When I was preparing to get out of the Army (right around the time 'Nam fell), I was reading about how much the earth had cooled over the past 75 years! Now, where are we? Who knows what to believe anymore? The press will run with whatever trend is popular at the time. But no matter what, I don't think we have the power to do much about it. That said, imho, the current electric car frenzy is a total joke that only a frigging idiot would buy into.

Yes. Climate fear porn. They are doing some tricksy stuff now with temp reporting such as measuring GROUND temps instead of the required 1.2m above ground level. Gives a MUCH higher reading as anyone who has stepped on asphalt in bare feet in the summer can attest. All the weather maps are now blood red while reporting temps that are actually lower than previous. On and on. Really getting sick of all the bs.
