    Sorry Parrot Heads

Jimmy Buffett, dead at 76. I’ve been to a half dozen of his concerts and hung out at Margaritaville in Key West downing cold beers and listening to his tunes. I kind’a liked his lifestyle.

Seems like when I lived there in the 70’s, the members of the Coral Reefers and Buffett would show up all over ge place and play. My favorite show ever by Buffett was a NYEshow at a bar called Dr Feelgoods in St Pete.
A great poet, writer, and musician. Loved his books aswell as his music.

Man I hate that. He was an icon. I think I might make a shrimp boil tonight in his honor.

Smooth seas and warm beaches Jimmy.

... and another one bites the dust. You know that you are old when your contemporaries are all dying.

Well, I guess it was the beach life that caught up to him. I just read the cause of death was skin cancer. Cancer sucks.

Kribbs, how are you doing, I know you take it pretty hard when any buffett’s shut down.

One of the classics. I remember a bar in Clearwater where the band played this song all the time. Back when goingto bars and listening to live music was a thing.
Jimmy had a way of singing out loud what a lot of folks keep inside their heads.

I had that album on vinyl as well as cd!

For some reason I've had a huge problem when trying to edit posts here with my cell phone. Instead of editing, it deletes the post. Odd though, it doesn't happen if I go through the Tapatalk app.
