Ha ha ha! I have to admit. I’m on west coast time and a bit slow this morning. It took me a few seconds.

I have a couple of welding helmets in my garage and usually wear those whenever we have any sort of eclipse, but we’re at Lynn’s mom’s house in Los Angeles now. It’ll only be about a 50% coverage here, but they want to see it.

I don’t trust those Chinese, cardboard “glasses” as far as I can throw them. I called a local welding supply company yesterday and asked if they had any welding helmet replacement lenses with a shade rating of 12-14. They did, so I went over and picked up a couple of 14’s.

They’re a nice size at 4.5”x5.25” and I got them for $4.00 each! I didn’t know you could find ANYTHING in L. A. for $4.00! Not even a gallon of gas!

Anyway, we’re set.
