    Conundrum

I really don't do squat on my personal Facebook page ... in fact, when I started it years ago, I worked on it the first day and never went back to complete it. I will admit, I enjoy using the platform to keep up with friends through their posts, so it does serve a purpose for me, I simply don't participate by posting the fact I took a nice dump right after getting out of bed this morning. (although I'd more than likely post that here!)

That said, I received a message this morning (I plan on referring to it in a separate post here later) and kind of took a quick glance of my page after reading his message. I realized I have a few people on my friends list who have passed on. My first thought was to delete them, but then it hit me, why? What made it even more difficult, after scanning through, Larke is one of them. I suddenly felt guilty for even considering deleting those on my list who are no longer around and decided to leave it alone. It just seems too final I guess. Like this place (GoodHunting), I sometimes sit at my desk and start scrolling through old posts .... and I mean going waaaay back. I remember one day I must have spent 5-6 hours doing that and it put quite a few smiles on my face, as well as a few tears. Many of those old posts were made by people who have physically left us forever.

Anyway, I'm leaving my FB friends list alone.

    Thoughts?

Nostalgia and memories are all that keep us old guys going Jim. I like to read back through the GH archives as well

For the most part, I kind of enjoy having the memory of lost friends pop up in my feed. (Certainly more than hearing about your morning deuce anyway.)

I don't delete my friends that have passed away for the same reason you didn't Jim.
