    Since Sunny mentioned corn-on-the-cob....

Anyone ever heard of cooking corn in a cooler???....news is sorta slow, coming to the south ....heard about from one of wifey's friends, recently....place a bunch of shucked ears in the bottom of a cooler, cover with boiling water, and close the lid....30 minutes later, you got boilt corn....supposedly, saves time and stove-top space, when cooking for a crowd.

    Does it really work???

    Can't see why it wouldn't.

    Genius!

Except that could unfairly displace a shitload of beer!

Seems like it ought to work. I know a lot of folks finish off their pork butts by wrapping them in foil and towels and letting them rest in a cooler for an hour or so.

I just heard about this from a friend last week. Everyone claims it works. Don't know why it wouldn't. I thought I'd give it a try this summer.
