    I HATE politics, BUT .....

I got sucked into watching the debate last night. Trump just can't help himself and Kamala played him like a fiddle last night. She knew all she had to do was find his trigger, get under his skin, and then all she had to do was stand back and watch him destroy any sliver of credibility he had to begin with. Like the Trump/Biden debate (if you can call it that), Trump didn't have to do a thing other than sit back, keep his mouth shut and watch Biden flush himself down the toilet. That's all Kamala really had to do last night.

She locked herself in a hotel room practicing for the past 5 days and came out totally prepared. Trump flew in 1-1/2 hours before the debate and walked in all cocky and overconfident, then went in to his usual. tired old diatribe we've all heard elebenty-bazillion times. He held it together for 20-30 minutes (as I'm sure his "handlers" have been drilling into him as being critically necessary), but all Kamala had to say to push his button was to say the huge crowds he always brags about at his rallies, starts dwindling as everyone gets bored with the same old rhetoric and they leave early. That's all it took to set him off and he went downhill from there. From that point forward, he acted like a spoiled third grader throwing a temper tantrum on the playground because he was told he can't play on the monkey bars. At least, he threw out something I'm sure the press will run with, likie injecting bleach to prevent Covid. Last night he started talking about the Mayor of Bumfuck, Kentucky (or someplace like that) complaining that all the dogs in town are disappearing because the illegal Hatians Kamala allowed into the country, are eating them.

I voted for him twice, even though he's probably the most infantile, arrogant, egotistical and narcissistic individual I've even known in my life. On the world stage, as our President, he embarrassed me half to death. He did a few things I liked, but I just can't do it again.

What's my choice? Kamala? I'll give her credit, she kicked Trump's ass to the moon and back in last night's debate, but for the first time since I became of age, I will not be voting in this year's election. What's the point?

Wow I can't imagine sitting thru one of those things.

Debates could be useful and informative... But not if run by the news media. They are not unbiased, hell there are many who have come right and and stated that they believe that bias is a good thing.

They made the switch from news journalists to political advocates years ago. Had to, their business model got broke by the internet. They make a living by telling a small portion of the citizenry what they want to hear. Make them feel good and keep them coming back.

Another example of a large institution failing at it's stated mission. A lot of that going around lately.

Don't forget that they were factchecking everything Trump said live and let Kamala get up there and lie like a dog. I'm not a fan of Trump the person but I'm not asking him to the prom. Is he an embarrassment, yes. Do I consider my country better off than it was four years ago, oh hell no. This administration is charging concerned parents as domestic terrorists, letting nay encouraging these Drag queen perverts to indoctrinate school kids, teaching grade school kids that men can have babies but they can't read......

In a battle between a clown and the devil there ain't no doubt which way I'll bounce.

I’ve been lobbying for a viable third party for years. Our current system is unfixably broken.

I tuned in for a short time only because my daughter had one of the moderators, Linsey Davis, as one of the instructors for one of her journalism classes last year.

I’m not a Trump fan either but like QA, if those are my only choices, there isn’t much question about what my choice will be.

I just wish that the MSM could go back to at least the appearance of impartiality.

I voted for Trump the first time because I was hoping his business acumen could help turn this country around, not to mention the fact I'd get goose bumps and the hair would stand up on the back of my neck any time I thought of Hillary becoming President. I liked some of the things he did, but he embarrassed me as a leader of our country, almost every time he opened his mouth. I recognized the feeling .... it's the same feeling I had when I travelled to Russia back in the 90's. Every time I was waiting at an airport gate for a flight, or any time I was in a restaurant or someplace similar where they had a tv, it seemed the ONLY thing showing was the bullshit going on in the states with Clinton and the Monika Lewinsky fiasco. I always felt like all eyes were on me and it was embarrassing. I'm normally proud of my country and show it no matter where I am in the world. In Russia, I always had the urge to stand up and say, "Hey! I'd just like all of you to know, I didn't vote for the dipshit!" Once Trump discovered Twitter, I was praying silently for someone to cut his Twitter finger off and block all of his social media accounts. The same feeling I got whenever Trump would open his mouth while in the company of world leaders, just STFU and run the country. The Trump quote that jumped out at me last night (other than naming the town where all the dogs are disappearing because Kamala's illegals are eating them) is when he said all the illegals the present administration is letting into the country, are taking jobs away from our black and Hispanic citizens! Ummm, let THAT one settle in for a few minutes. The moron has no filter ... he's too frigging stupid to even know when he sounds stupid.

The second time I voted for him was purely a vote against Biden and I was hanging on to the hope that maybe Trump would listen to his advisors and LEAD the country, instead of spending half his Presidency telling us all what a great President he is and how much everyone loves him.

I'm sorry, but this time around, I can't take any more of his narcissistic bullshit. I never, ever, EVER thought I'd see the day where I'd even "think" about voting for someone like Kamala over Trump, but I'm on the ragged edge. Not close enough to actually do it, but pissed off enough to not even vote at all. That won't accomplish anything, but at least I won't have to admit I voted for Trump ... a THIRD time!

Thru the years, all of us have had to endure people at work, or neighbors, or in-laws, or just some friends who are obnoxious azzholes.....that doesn't mean they are dumb or ignorant, it just means they have different personalities, and their presence around us is hard to tolerate.....I agree, we really just want to slap the sheeit outta them.
Donald Trump is a very good business man, not a spit-shined and polished politician, and that's the reason I like and tolerate him.....the U.S. experienced the absolute best economy and the safest four years in our entire history.....he rebuilt our military and the border was pretty day'um secure, too.....I could care less if he brags a little about his successes.....day'um, anyone would.....think about this, why in the world would anyone endure the relentless onslaught of lawsuits, impeachments, violation of family and personal rights, and all of the other total bullsheet that this man has endured???.....the man loves America, and almost got assassinated for it!!!
Last question, and I use this analogy when dealing with people.....it sounds mundane, but seriously, who would you chose to be in a foxhole with you, protecting your back, Trump or Kamala???.....unfortunately, a foxhole or bunker may actually become one of our choices in the not so far distant future.

    I HATE politics, BUT .....

Why does he put up with all of that shit and still run for President? Because he’s the biggest narcisist the world has ever seen. He gets to look out over the crowd of his adoring followers and brag about being the leader of the greatest country in the world. That’s how he gets his rocks off.

Kamala’s handlers taught her to simply play him like a fiddle while keeping that in mind. It worked like a charm. You don’t think the world leaders have him figured out? If that nitwit Kamala can do it, you don’t think Putin, Kim Jong Un or Xí Jìnpíng has him figured out already? Just take him to dinner, stroke his ego, tell him he’s the GOAT where American Presidents are concerned, and they have him in their pockets. He’s a fucking moron. He fooled me once and I voted for him. The second time I voted for him, I simply crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.

I’d have to be a frigging idiot to think he’s going to change after I vote for him a third time. But then, my other choice is a clueless split-tail who does nothing but giggle when under pressure, hoping the problem will fix itself by time she quits laughing. I see no reason to waste my time voting. I’m fucked either way, so I’ll just live with the outcome.

Ok, you're right, but I just can't not vote or vote for an admitted card-carrying marxist/communist.

I understand. But that’s how I’ve voted since Reagan, and I’m tired of it.

I've heard your VP referred to as "Justin Trudeau in a pant suit'. Be afraid, be very afraid.
