Can I be Mr. April? I shoulda measured or figured out how big she was but I was just happy to have caught her. She was fat as hell with eggs, so I wanted to get her back over by her nest ASAP.
Caught her in a suburban pond in a driving rain. I knew the barometer was crashing, the water was warming and they were in pre-spawn.
