Two of my sharpest engineers say it's buggy and a pile of shit. I'll wait

I'm looking to get a new confuser to replace the one that I have that is about 12 years old. I've already had to replace the power supply in the old gal once, and it is starting to act up again. Didn't want to turn on the other day until I cussed it for a bit.

.....anyway....I've got my eye on a couple of refurb'd DELL units at NewEgg but all of them have WIN8 onboard. Heck, the unit I have now is running XP, so I'm only a few revs behind the times.

You can usually have them reimaged with Win7 if you call and ask.

Sure hope it beats Win 7. What a wasteful pile of abomination!

The weather has been great. Got out last weekend and hiked Snoqualmie Twin Falls area. I've been running WIN8 and like it, but, I did send Niner a message on the reason to move or not to move. And, as far as Dell goes I'd stay away...never been real happy with my Dells

I drove up to Snoqualmie Pass on time......in a rented car. Went around a road barrier on a gravel road, and drove a long ways. BIG tree up there, and some beautiful country.

Back in '85 (or early '86) I came REAL close to pulling the trigger on purchasing a nice piece of property up in Snoqualmie. Got's a bunch of pics of the falls around here someplace.

Yep Snoqualmie is the home town now. Gotta say after December, January, February, I'm really enjoying that latter part of March. Heading Chinook fishing on Friday!
