    Mississippi Trip

Well I am back and even though the Turkey's did cooperate, not 1 gobble in 2 days of hunting we had a great time. It was pretty much cool and rainy the whole time but it was need to see my friend JB's old stomping grounds. Eddie I found some of that sausage you talked about and it turns out JB went to school with the guy who owns it. It was pretty tasty. Saturday was Crawfish with all the fixins Sausage, Corn, taters and then Sunday was smoked deer shoulder, chicken wings and country style ribs. Here are a few pics. Crawfish2.jpgMS1.jpg

It sure looks like Jean Val Jean comes by his love of food and cooking honestly!

Glad you had a good time. I figured there'd be mud bugs and other critters found in ditches while you were there.

Sounds like you enjoyed some good ole Mississippi hospitality and plenty of good cooking.
