If it were broccoli I would.

But I have to start trying to eat SOMETHING right. I have medical problems. I am a sick man. I am not well. I am fat. I am obese. I am dying. I need more veggies. If I find some I like, why not try them?

    Glass pie plate

Clean asparagus and cut into bite size pieces

Put in glass pie plate with a little water

    Cover with glass lid

Microwave 5-6 minutes depends on how much you cook

Uncover, shred some cheese on it recover

    Once melted serve

You can do the same with broccoli.

    There you go...

Get some dirt follow Sunny's directions above and put some cheese on it and it will taste the same.
    Cheesy
And that cheese might help you loose weight too

I do that in the oven with parmesan and a little salt, pepper and olive oil, Sunshine. Its pretty good but its too messy to clean up. Which is why I like grilling it. I'd eat a grilled door knob. Or a fried one if The batter would stick to it.

    And Larke....you're deranged.

posthole is the only one who could eat at my house. Slice your beets , saute them in a brown sugar and honey glaze. When they start getting tender, chop up the greens and saute them with the beets.

I can honestly say that I can't think of one single garden vegetable that I don't like....yeah, sure, when I was young, I hated things like spinach, squash, cukes, rutabagas, asparagus, etc., but as I grew older, I just developed a taste for them, and now love them all.

And, it doesn't matter how they're cooked, either....in the summer time, when the gardens are bountiful, lots of nights we don't even have meat on the table....nothing but bowls-full of fresh veggies, cornbread, and buttermilk.
