    You're deranged.

Michael Martin Murphy sang Wildfire. He's barely older'n me and hasn't expired yet.

Kris Kross was some black rapper heroin dude that expired right on time.

I must've been thinking about somebody else then. Some texan is who I was thinking of.

I'm not up to date on the whole rapper scene.

I think there is a singer that goes by Christopher Cross back in the '80s. Can't remember what he sang.

And that is absolutely true. In fact, I've been jammin' to Me and Bobby McGee and Help Me Make It Through the Night all week. Best songwriter of his generation IMO.

    From Fox News:

Here's the rap-dude that over-dosed, and bit the dust....better known as "Mac Daddy"....he was half of the rap duo, Kriss Kross....

the other rap-dude was called "Daddy Mac"....catchy names, huh???....they were the ones that invented the dumb idea to wear their clothes backwards.

    How do you spell "rap?"...."CRAP"

When my boys were mid-early teens they used to sing that 'Whoop There It Is' song all the time just to annoy me. They must have sung that 5000 times in a week of fishing.

Yeah, they were little buttholes. They never figured out when you do that in the boat that your part of the boat ends up in the bushes though.
