Lost a good one last night.

My Step Dad passed in his sleep last night. He was a good man and dedicated his entire working life to serving our country both in and out of uniform. He taught me most of what I know about guns (all I know about black powder shooting) and how to butcher a deer. Most of all, he was always good to my Mom. RIP, Bud.

Tough news. Step parenting is one of the toughest jobs there is. Sounds like you had a good one.

You were a lucky person to have had a good step parent!!!

Step parenting is even harder then regular parenting and the majority of step-parents just aren't into it.

Im so glad, you had a wonderful step-father.

Sounds like he was a very carrying and giving person.

Because of him, he helped you be a good person and his legacy will continue through you.

Prayers for you and your family.
