    iPhone FaceTime....

I don't know if it is a new thing with this version of the iPhone (5), but one of the features that is just a neat as a pocket on your shirt is this thingy called FaceTime. It allows you to video conference with other iPhone users.

My daughter called me the other evening and when I answered the phone... there she was on the screen! Just like on The Jetsons.

I guess that sort of thing is doable with Skype or other methods, but I just think that it's pretty doggone slick. Since she lives so far away, we don't get to see her (or her pup) very often, so I'm just tickled about this feature on this phone. Very simple and seamless.

We do it some with the kids and grandparents. Also, when I'm on a business trip. Good stuff.

I shot a wedding last year. The grooms parents were ill and unable to travel. They facetimed them in, put the ipad on the altar and they had the best seat in the house!

Well, you can't do it with me or Egg.....

It takes Tango or Hangout to do it with real phone users.

    Ha.

Go google all the reviews, dude. I'm tickled with what I have, totally........can't wait for the Note III........blows iPhones out of the water.

Nothing WRONG with an iPhone.......but they are now labeled the "Old Man's Smartphone"!!!! Not my words, I just read stuff.......

OH, and it just hit me........in your analogy, the iPhone would be the Betamax!!

What's wrong with this picture? Buncha old geezers sitting around talking about their iphones when they should be talking about arthritis and the good old days. You really have no idea how glad I am not to be a geekzer.

but I can tell you about my arthritis........
