    Anything look odd to you?

Took a picture of this buck on our way out to Glacier last week and after downloading the pictures I got to thinking something about this buck didn't look right. Take a gander and see if you notice anything odd about it.

I can't see it great and it says it's supposed to click "larger" but doesn't - hybrid?

I know the tail is looking a little like a whitetail, but I'm thinking its just the angle and the light in the photo. Pretty sure if he took off it would look like a regular old rope tailed muley.

I click on the pic and it gets SMALLER! It looks like that thing has three antlers ... especially in the last pic.

Only thing odd I see about it, is Cornholio isn't sitting on it grinning

To me the face looks like that of a whitetail but not the ears and the antlers could go either way.

I've seen a bunch of those crossbred muley x whitetails regularly in eastern Colo. and New Mexico.
The offspring are "suppose" to always be sterile.

    FWIW I'd take either one.
I have a 3x3 just about like the bottom one I shot in WY. I have a lot of people ask me if it's a crossbreed because the antlers don't fork.
I've been told it's just a young muley.
The older I get, the better I was. I also forget my password and have to have Len reset it for me

    It's Pat!

I don't understand any of this.

Yes, some stuff looks weird to me. In order of noticing:

    1) There are no trees for a buck that size to hide behind. Thus, there are no people in that county.

    2) He is standing still, which means I have not shot at him yet.

    3) He is upright. It will be hard to cut up and freeze him in this position. He needs to be supine soon. I suggest a .270.
WARNING - Due to the rising costs of ammunition, warning shots will no longer be given.
