    Update

First and foremost I want to thank all of you for the prayers, thoughts and concern. My sister came home (she lives with me) yesterday and is glad to be home. It is cervical cancer and it's fairly advanced, they are going to start chemo and radiation sometime next week. I don't have all the particulars as to how long the treatments will take but hope to get more information next week. It turns out it is a good thing I needed to burn some vacation time or I was going to start loosing it so I took all next week off for my Birthday. I can be sure and go to the Dr appts with her.

Once again thanks for all the love.

    Sorry to hear her diagnosis.
I am sure OK has some very good hospitals and doctors.
That said, Houston (and MD Anderson) are only about 500 miles away from y'all.
To say I am amazed with that place would be an understatement....they literally saved my life.
If there's any way at all y'all can get down there, I would highly recommend it.

As somebody smarter than me once said, "Cancer Sucks!"

I'll keep the prayers coming for both of you.

Prayers for you and her, Trav. Keep strong. Stuff can be beat, just check in here often, and you'll see!

    Hang in there.

I'm glad you're able to be there for her, Trav. I'll send you guys everything I can.
