    Got me some Swamp Loggers....

On a 15 year timber rotation, and this is the year to cut a few acres....prices are pretty good on the hardwood, so they are getting it, while it's good and dry.

    This machine is wicked-awesome.

One of the coolest wood dutters I've ever seen was the brush cutter bar mounted on a helicopter that was used to trim tress in power line right of ways. Saw that at the Shenandoah River. Also got to see it in operation. Those chopper pilots must have bigguns.

You got that right, Phole....got a buddy down here who owns one of those heli-cutting businesses....VERY dangerous business....he was totally gray-headed at age 30.

That was definitely a slick piece if machinery. Barry. When I was out in Idaho, I was chatting up some if the helicopter pilots that drop water on the wildfires and mentioned those guys cutting the right of way. Those fire jockey's are a wild bunch as well.
