    The Ol' Ball Coach

I am a Florida State guy. I loathed him when we played him. But missed him when he left. I have to admit, he is one of a kind and a guy that I am thoroughly entertained by...

I'd like to see him unemployed, myself.

I base my comment on what amounted to a hugeass skid mark he left on the underwearscape that is the RedskIns.

Yeah, you could blame a small portion on Snyder. But Spurrier was incompetent in the NFL.

As long as the Dawgs put one in the W column when we meet SC I don't care if his whole team sports the same number.

I feel the same way about Bobby Knight. I went to Purdue and absolutely hated him. But the rivalry hasn't been the same since he's been gone. It never mattered how good or bad either team was, neither wanted to lose to the other. I'd say IU fans probably feel the same way since Gene Keady left Purdue.

At least he figured out it wasn't for him and went back to what he's good at. I don't necessarily love the guy, but I do admire people like him and Mike Leach and for that matter Barry Switzer who are who they are and don't make any excuses or try to cater to what people want them to be. Take 'em or leave 'em. It comes across as arrogance and that may well be what the root of it is. But that stuff don't matter to me.
and I thought the Skins' problem was their owner not their coach. Hell they have Shanahan now, do you hate him too?

We may still suck, but at least Shanny is a professional. Spurrier was a buffoon who took the money and ran. (There's also the whole Duke taint.) As for Danny Boy, I'd still take him over Jerry Jones who is the ultimate a$$ clown.
