Eddie. Don't soak all that rain up before it gets here. We are hotter than Hell and drier than a popcorn fart.

We got very little rain considering how strong that front was. But yeah, the high here was about 66 today. Going fishing in the morning early and it'll be in the lower 50's. Jacket weather. Maybe just a flannel shirt.

Thanks Phole....just wondering if the front had passed you.

Cap, you can have ALL this rain!!!....I shoulda known the rain would set in, right here at wheat planting time....haven't gotten but about 2 inches since May 18th, and now we're getting flash flooding.

Sux, but I'll make it through it.

Think I'll get up early in the morning, and go fishing, too.

Catfish should be jumping, after this front moves thru tonite!!!

Nothing any better than fish straight outta the water, cleaned, and tossed in hot peanut oil.

Wifey went with me and caught the biggest one, right before we quit.
She just HAD to have it weighed---4 pounds on the nose....all are just the right size....channel cats start getting a bit tough when over 4 or 5 pounds....jmho.

My favorite channel cats, and the only ones I'd bother to keep and clean would be about 17" and still be spotted. Good eats right there and I'm pretty picky about eating catfish. Those and flathead are the only cat fish I'll eat.
