How to Freak Out Your Art Teacher

Part of being an art teacher, is being a noticer. So I'm teaching my classroom full of little 6th grade student's this morning, when I got thrown for a loop. One of my students is pretty much a normal typical kid. Relatively quiet and not overly remarkable. However this morning as I walked up to her, to see if she needed any help with her artwork, I got a bit of a surprise. Her head was down upon my approach, but naturally she looked up at me as I moved in front of her. Normally she has dark brown eyes. This is what I saw. Pert near made me jump. Dang freaky color contacts!

At least it wasn't those cat's eye contacts.
