So how long have you had that Jeep, BBP?

you know Niner, the whole time I was reading that I was thinking back to an old 85 Jeep Cherokee I had with that same motor and it couldn't get out of its own way and I wouldn't give five bucks for it. I tried to pull someone out of a ditch one time in the snow and the damn thing wouldn't budge it an inch.

but no, that wasn't mine. I'd give $17.50 maybe, but nowhere near $1750

The last Jeep I owned was a shit-turd brown, '79 (full-sized) Cherokee. I think that was the last year for the full-time 4WD. Man-o-man, what a gas hog that thing was! I went completely through it, new wheels and tires, engine rebuild (360 cid w/4bbl), tranny rebuild (Turbo Hydro 400), new dual exhaust ... the works. I had a buddy (hired him as my Shop Foremen even) who was in love with that truck and begged me to sell it to him (in '89). I finally did and he was making monthly payments on the thing. When I left L.A, I signed the title over to him while he still owed me $1000 (trusted him for some stupid reason). Needless to say, I never saw or heard from that EX-friend again! Asshole! If you ever run into a nice, clean-cut Mexican dude named ED MORGA, give him a swift kick in the nut-sack for me. :rocket

    Wait... Hitler drove a jeep?
