    Cool ----->2014 GOODHUNTER GATHERING<-----

I know it's been discussed several times over the years, but I'd like to make it as close to a reality as possible.
I'd love to see as many of us GoodHunters as can get together SOMEWHERE in the USA sometime in 2014.

I know there was a "gathering" a few years back in Virginia on the Shenandoah River for a fishing trip. Something like that would be cool.....or whatever.

Let's try to make it happen in 2014!!!

I'd love to participate! My ability to do so will obviously depend on work/family conflicts. Is there some place fairly central for driving or that has reasonable air access? Do we want to fish, hunt, or sit around and drink untaxed liquor?

Well, I know one thing I WON'T be talking about!

Missouri is very central and has some awesome rivers to do some floating/fishing/goofing around on.

The sooner we nail down a date, the better chance I have at closing the wedding bidness for that weekend I'd really like to do it. I love you fuckers!

The LBL sounds good to me.
However, the only thing I know about the area is I rode my motorcycle through there on vacation sometime back in the late 1970's. IIRC it was a really pretty area.

How about one of you retarded types with nothing to do start organizing the trip and handling the whining?

We need to at least hammer out a two week window for this, could narrow it down further later on.

Mid-May is a good time to feesh.

I'm pretty flexible ... well, actually I'm not flexible at all ... but my time schedule is. BUT ... I'll be on a "no time limit" road trip around mid-May. We're having a "worn-out-old-fart-ex-spy/secret-agent" reunion in Northern California in mid-May. My Texas bud and my main "wingman" in the military (also disabled) are gonna turn it into an extended trip. I'm gonna drive to his place in Texas, stay a day or so to rest up, then we're headed out to meet up with the group in NoCal. Depending on how early a start we get, we'll make as many stops and side trips we want along the way ... then do the same thing on the way back. Who knows? We could be on the road for a month! I do need to be home by the early part of June as we'll be meeting up with my sis and bro-in-law in New Orleans for a few days (as long as my eBay business keeps providing "play money").

780 for me. It's a sign when you plug it in to google maps for directions and it comes up with flight information I'm still down, though. I like road trips.

I think we're gonna have to set a date and whoever is free can make it and whoever can't can't. Mid June is our annual vacation time. But we're never gonna get it scheduled if we try to work around everyone's schedule as busy as summers are. So let's set a date and go for it!

Arty, I was wondering about spouses too. How many are bringing spouses and how many aren't?
Wonder if we might ought to put up a poll for a few dates and the spouse question. I would like to bring Julie but then again I don't thi9nk she'd have much fun at a sausage fest.

    A pole would be great.
Perhaps a poll on location to (just geographically not specifically)

If we're talking poles, I'll vote for stripper poles. Let's have a poll on that.
