shoot it
If it's anything like the VDGIF, mountain lions don't exist. However, it is illegal to kill said non-existent critters. Hmmm...

Same here. They get by with it by saying "It is illegal to kill any non game animal not listed herein". You can't legally kill a snake.
BUT, they say hogs are a non game animal but they encourage you to shoot them day or night!
Mt lion sightings here are through the roof. Game cam pics, some with a deer in their mouth. They are rampant.
AGFC simply doesn't want to regulate hogs or Mt lions so they bury their head loudly.
It won't be long and it will be way too big to ignore.
Guy that saw it couldn't get it in scope before it was gone. They don't stand still unless they are up a tree.
Usually gets attention when they eat a jogger in some suburban area. Of course, the women I know in arkansas would be quite a mouthful for a cougar. And bitter too.

Yeah, but it'd help us and our deer too.
We have LOTS of couger and deer everywhere. They are not mutually exclusive. In fact, you will not have lots of couger if you do not have lots of deer. Maybe they are just better deer hunters than you are?
The Game and fish says they don't exist, if they'd grant me the same status, i'd be a better hunter too

If they're better'n me, they need to die.
Government goats! Just another thing you feel entitled to!
(and that was a joke)

I seen a bigfoot on Cap's game cam pics.
I laid eyes on one about 12 years ago in VA. It was tracking someone's goat that had gotten away. The goat was still dragging about 5 ft of dog chain.
I saw prints up in the Catskills, but they swear there're no lions up there..

There was a feller who shot one not too far from The Farm on a WMA a few years back.
BUT, it turned out it was a Florida Panther....something ELSE that "we don't have" around here according to DNR.
In the end the dude got into a little trouble with the Feds for shooting and endangered species.
