Would you yankees keep this crap up North?

About two weeks ago we got a heavy snow storm. Unheard of for this time of the year! Luckily the roads were warm enough everything melted and no real problem.
This morning it was 19 degrees here and we got snow and sleet coming tomorrow and Wednesday.
This just ain't Christain! I'm finally getting to the point where I think I can hunt a little and it's too cold to go outside. Y'all can HAVE this kinda stuff.

Come on down Cappy. We can lay on the beach and sip fru-fru drinks with little paper umbrellas in 'em! You DO remember you still have a beach house don't you?

You are suppose to hunt deer in the snow and cool temps, you don't hunt deer in shirt sleeves and flip flops.
Haven't you ever seen all the deer hunting pictures in the magazines.

10 here this morning. Had to kick ice off the boat.
If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.

I went out yesterday morning and it was 18 degrees with a pretty good wind. The deer were hunkered down in the woods and weren't moving unless you forced them out.

When I get in a boat to go fishing with it being 10 degrees, you will know that hell has officially frozen over

Do youse dufes have to listen to the tv to get those temps or do they sell different thermometers up there? Ours bottom out at 60.

80 here today .... BUT ... we have a light drizzle. Storms predicted tonight. DANG! No beach today.

Yep, Thump, looks like you might even have a few 'naders, down your way.

Take some pics, when you are hunkered down in your bathtub, with your mattress over your head....just make sure the pecker-tracks are not showing.

Yep, they said it may get nasty this evening. I don't pay much attention to 'nader warnings 'cause I don't live close enough to a mobile home park to worry about 'em. Heck, those are the only places that ever get hit when we have 'naders. I call 'em "'nader magnets".

Drizzled this morning, then the clouds went away, the sun came out and it turned into a beautiful day. BUT ... it's really windy. S'posed to get nasty this evening but at least I'm still wearing shorts, t-shirt and flip-flops!

I've been to Florida in the summer time and I wouldn't trade my winter for it in a million years.

I think you're fudging a bit ... I'm not quite sure that's really "Yankee winter wear"!

Like Virginia is Yankeeland! Oh well, anything north of the Georgia/Florida line is "Yankee" to me.

Based on my experience, anything along the coast of Florida is mostly Yankee to me.

    Sad but true I'm afraid.
