    Our Christmas Tree

In an effort to shake things up a bit we decided to do a themed-Christmas for the get-together with my inlaws this year. We draw name between the adult kids and this year the gift has to be something you can buy in a gas station and be limited to $25-30. This ought to be interesting!

As for the rest of it, we decided on a Redneck Christmas which is going to be a hoot. The mother-in-law even plans on making 'Possum Pie and claims she found somewhere to order an opossum which is a must as those critters don't live anywhere close to here. Guess you can find ANYTHING on the 'net if you just look.

Below is our Redneck Christmas Tree decorated with things like birchbark flowers, deer antlers, goose decoy heads, turkey feathers, and camo-netting for the tree skirt.

I don't think it looks too bad at all but then again I have been accused of being a bit redneck on occasion.

How could you get more "redneck" than buying all you gifts at a gas station?

Sounds like fun. (I'd hope to receive a gas gift card, but that's just me!)
