Never too cold for grandson to hunt.....

Sure didn't want to get outta my recliner, and miss any football, but he and my son drove up about half hour ago, with this 10 point brute....they had to track him for a while in the twilight....perfect shoulder shot, but using a "".243 Track 'Em""....at least, that's what I call it, because if you shoot one of our 225 pound Mississippi whitetails with a .243, you ARE gonna ""track 'em"".

It's so dang cold, we gutted him in about 5 minutes, and let him hang hide-on in the shop, tonite.

Man that is cool. A great buck too. I hope he gets in Granddaddy's pocketbook for a nice shoulder mount. ;-)

You are prolly right, Cap....it'd be worth it, though....the boy sho nuf loves to hunt, and is a well-disciplined little hunter, too.

I hunted all morning, today, and this is all I saw....little cow-horn and a doe.

If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.

    Beautiful buck!

But wow! That boy really needs to have that "skin condition" checked out. I hope that stuff on his face clears up and doesn't leave scars!

You can't wear that and wear glasses.

    Found that out this morning.

I did the exact same thing this morning cause I didn't feel like putting my contacts in.

Foggy glasses is what I had.
