It's 9 right now. Saying we could see -23 over the next couple nights. Think I'll go fishing before it cools off. In actuality 0 is fairly common here but -20 is more like Bwana weather.

We're all the way up to 15 right now. But the sun is out. Its the grey days of winter that make me cranky.

Our winters usually consist of a 2-3 day "cold-snap". It's been REALLY mild so far, so we're due to get nailed pretty soon. Then again, tomorrow and next week may turn out to be our "winter".

Winter is only 9 days old.

Our worst weather was the 2 weeks before "Winter" officially started! Rare. I anticipate global apocalypse and extreme fishing withdrawals soon.

    P.S.
To you "Yankees". Guy I know caught a limit of crappie on LIQUID water on New Years Day.

Liquid water? What other kind is there? Oh yeah, there ARE those clear, cold, hard things in iced tea, right?

QUIT Whining! You Floridian's need a cold snap now and then! LMAO Come up here and fix my drive pulley on the plow PTO. It spun off 2 weeks ago and the parts are on order. I've got 30" of snow sitting in the driveway too!

Could you bring it down here? I'll fix it in my driveway wearing flip-flops and shorts. I'll wear a t-shirt ONLY so my back won't gross out the neighbors.

Happy New Year Hunter Ed! Its been a while and I'm glad to see you found us in our new spot. Can't remember if you've posted since we moved the furniture around.

How'd you get caught unprepared with no bourbon in the house?

Isn't December 21st the middle of winter? I thought it was the point at which the shorter days started getting longer and heading back to more time in the sun?

    This is bullshit!

No, it's the beginning. Winter Solstice. Spring isn't until March or sometime in the far off future.
