If I was a stud muffin NFL player on a playoff team, I'd find a way to get close but not make it to the Super Bowl. Talk about STUPID!! Outside in New York/Jersey in February? How much money did it take to make that stupid decision? The game won't have anything to do with who is the best team.......... Ugh.

If it is 35 and snowing like it did in Philly a few weeks back, I am all for it. If it is bitter cold with a nasty wind chill, then teams will both be compromised and you won't see their best. Some Super Bowls have been played in monsoon conditions, didn't like those either. I think football is best played outdoors but play the SB in a dome so the fans paying mega bucks for tickets have the best possible experience.
The NFL is just overpaid arena football for the most part anyway. I don't see why they don't play it all on carpet in a big barn.
