Believe it or not, that's about all Tony (Gator) ever owned. He had a slew of 'em! If he ever shot a deer and couldn't find it, he'd go back to the house and bring one of his weenie dogs to track it. I was surprised at how well they did.

Guy had one in town when I was a kid. It was full-size and let me tell you... it commanded *respect* around all the other mongrels.
If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.

Given they were originally used to send into badger burrows to get them out means they must have been or maybe still are bad ass but they seem to have been weinified as of late.

One of the best rabbit hunts I ever went on was with weiners....the regular beagle man cancelled at the last minute, so just for the h3ll of it, one of the hunters drove home, and brought back his two weiners.
We all limited out with just those two little weiners....funny as all get out, watching those little short-legged dogs work a rabbit.

But rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...WOW, What a Ride!"
