I have not eaten at a McD's since about 2005, when I saw the movie/documentary "Supersize Me".
If you can find it online it is worth a watch.
Oh man. I will admit I like them too but I won't touch them. They're like made out of polyester or something.

I read the ingredients years ago when they first came out. "mechanically separated chicken" I tapped out after that.
If we all threw our problems in a pile, and you saw everyone else's problems-- you'd take yours back.
I love mechanically separated polyesters. Especially the feathers part. But I ONLY dip 'em in honey.

Chicken nuggets are from roosters...
They are actually made of much better stuff than I would of ever guessed.
I'm with LW ... I expected worse and it looks like pretty good quality to me.
That pink goop at the beginning actually looks more like hotdogs. If ya' ever saw 'em made, you'd never eat another one. Looks like pink toothpaste being squeezed into the casings.
Which begs a question. If a hotdog is listed as "all beef" ... do they consider a COW's eye-lids, lips, ears, nose and etc, as beef? Just wondering.
Well you sure wouldn't call it pork.
As a counterpoint, Niner, this teacher lost 37 lbs. and lowered his cholesterol eating nothing but McDonald's for 3 months...
Also, I wouldn't touch Chinese-processed nuggets with a 10 foot pole.

Jimmy Dean sausage, the best ever made, says "WHOLE Hog Sausage".
Now, me? I wouldn't admit such, but hey......it works for them.

I imagine beef is beef, Jimbo. I know Hebrew National only uses cuts from the shoulder forward in order to meet the kosher requirements. While that rules out some of the nastier pieces parts, it would seem to still leave a fair amount of leeway. With modern techniques using air hoses and centrifuges, I don't think much of anything on a cow goes to waste.

We have a local grocery store chain who have their own chicken and pig farms here in Oklahoma. No anitbiotics, no hormones and they're getting ready to expand to locally grown beef too. You pay a bit more but its good stuff.

What's really in a McNugget? Not what you think...

As far as I'm concerned, Scrapple is the king of the breakfast "meats". So, I think I'm down with eating just about anything.
