What other job can you have...

Where you can give such broad estimates, never deliver on time or accurately, and still be an all star???

Our weather guy says Wednesday afternoon "a winter weather event" will start.

From Wednesday afternoon to Thursday morning, we are forecasted (using the "Accuwaether forecast")....

    Ready for this?

    Significant RAIN.

    OR

    14+ inches Of snow

    Up to 25" possible.

I don't know weather to get the boat untied from the trailer so it'll float.... Or go buy a snowblower

    Guess I'll do neither

I saw one model that had us getting 20+ inches. I sure as hell hope not. I'm over it. Winter blows. It's a big bucket of suck.
If we all threw our problems in a pile, and you saw everyone else's problems-- you'd take yours back.

It's actually all my fault as I was just telling someone over the weekend that if it's going to be this cold and wet I'd just as soon it snowed a foot.

    You're welcome.

    Now this is funny.

We were SUPPOSED To get a band of big time snow, in Central Arkansas today, by now. It hasn't happened. But........the same folks who guaranteed it would (and made me stand in line at Walmart for hours Sunday afternoon), now say that the percentage of precipitation (snow) at 10:00 pm is NINETEEN percent. And at 11:00 PM it is FORTY SIX PERCENT.

    Not 20%.....but 19%...........and not 50%, but 46%. Not even 45%!

Then it's 54%, 46%, 29%, then 30% the rest of the day. I have no idea what happened in that hour between the 29% and the 30% string.

Why we even notice these 'forecasts' is ........... goofy. Agghh.

Snowing like the devil right now and has been all night. But the good news so far is the air temp is still around 34 so all is melting instead of sticking!

We're finally gonna get above freezing tomorrow it looks like and in the mid 60's by the weekend. there won't be any open water to fish but at least we'll get a little false spring to cheer folks up. I've never heard so much bitching and moaning about winter in my whole life as they've done around here. for chrissakes people, its WINTER. STFU.

    No. Oh, and Bite Me.

Last two years, my grass was growing already by now. Fish were biting. (All water is 'open' here, man). They're already catching fish, but I am too wussy to go below freezing air temps.
