    My first Robin....

Saw my first spring Robin in the yard, while gazing out my office window, this morning....it's 25 degrees, and his feet were frozen to the ground, but it was inspiring, none the less.

Heard a good one this morning about us Southerners not being use to winter weather:

"Every time one snowflake falls in the south, a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk disappear off the store shelves."

    That's us, for sure.

Daughter in SC (about 60 miles from Cappy) is sending me texts, pictures.......tons of snow..........followed by sleet all night......more snow today......about a foot of it, and ice in the middle. They have no way to deal with it. Their world is stopped, wham. Whatever you have on hand, is what you have for the next 5-6 days. Period.
WARNING - Due to the rising costs of ammunition, warning shots will no longer be given.

Yep snowing like a bitch wolf right now. I have GOT to go to SC today and get them cows some hay and water. Normally takes about 45 minutes prolly take 3 hours to get there. But I'm gonna give it a try.

Don't get too cranked up about the robin, eddie. I had about 50 sitting in the honeysuckle bushes behind the house last week.. and it was 18 below.
If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.
