Heard a good one this morning about us Southerners not being use to winter weather:
"Every time one snowflake falls in the south, a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk disappear off the store shelves."

Daughter in SC (about 60 miles from Cappy) is sending me texts, pictures.......tons of snow..........followed by sleet all night......more snow today......about a foot of it, and ice in the middle. They have no way to deal with it. Their world is stopped, wham. Whatever you have on hand, is what you have for the next 5-6 days. Period.

Don't get too cranked up about the robin, eddie. I had about 50 sitting in the honeysuckle bushes behind the house last week.. and it was 18 below.
