    Unbelievable weather change....

After our very unseasonable and extended bout of cold weather, it warmed up to 72 degrees, today.
Whoever says cold weather will kill mosquitoes is a day'um liar.
Walked around the edge of the woods, this afternoon, and they covered me up.

No mosquitoes on Lake Nimrod today.

I'm GUESSING it's because the wind was NNW at approximately 39,239 nautical miles per hour, and gusting higher.

60 here by the weekend. I actually enjoyed the snow this past week, but it can go away now. It's almost March.

75 here today. Can't believe we just got out of single digits a week ago. That's Oklahoma!

Its drier than a popcorn fart herre though. Big time fires up on the prairies just north and west of here. They even show up on the weather radar.

We've had a picture perfect "winter" ... lows in the mid to high 60's, highs in the low to mid-80's and zilch for humidity. Then Johnboy came down and brought that Canuckian type weather with him. First we had rain as the front(s) moved in ... then actually had a bit of frost a couple of mornings, then most of the week had lows in the 50's with highs in the high 60's to low 70's. Today, he's leaving to go back home and we're expecting clear skies and highs in the low to mid 80's from here on out. Murphey's Vacation Law was in effect I suppose.

Jim, could you please refrain from entering any information on the weather threads??? We've ALL been to Florida. We ALL left. Too boring.

That is all. The opinions stated herein are not necessarily those of management.

    Thank you.

And THAT from a dufe from ARKANSAS??? Ha! I've lived in Arkansas also for a VERY short time.

As for Florida ... you know the old saying ... "you can lead a horse to water, but .....".

BTW ... come on down ... the fishing's fine ... YEAR 'ROUND!

Gotta go with Bucky on this one. Nice place to visit, but no desire to live there.

Ha! If you really think about it ... I suppose that's what we ALL say about ANY state other than the one we live in. Otherwise, why do we live where we live? It's a fee country (unless we're in the military and are TOLD where we have to live).

I will say, I've traveled to every state in the union including Alaska and Hawaii. I've actually LIVED in ELEVEN different states. ALL have their pros and cons ... but, like you said, after trying the others ... I ended up back "home".
