Several years ago I had a test done where they drop a camera down your throat, whatever that one is called. I was talking to the doc who did the test when they put me under and when I woke up it was right in the middle of the conversation we'd been having when I went down. He was telling me about having lived in Detroit for several years is all I remember when I went under. I'm not sure what I said to him in between there and when I woke up but he and the nurses were all laughing.

Sunny, I hope you didn't give away any secrets when you were under.

    Keep me posted on this.

I need BOTH knees done, and I just can't make myself do it. I'm GLAD I did the rotator cuff surgery. I'm sure I would be AFTER the knees. But I can't find the time, and they only hurt when I bend 'em!!

Yikes ! Glad you're feeling a little better - Do what the doc tells you and you'll be back to normal before you know it.

I need it in both knees. But if I can't pick up 5 lbs, how will I pee?

Same thing with my back Bucky ... but I was told I can't lift more than 10 lbs ... I've had to sit down to pee ever since.

I'm surprised they didn't send you home with one of those knee extension machines. When does PT start?

Know what you mean Sunny. I thought I was gonna go stir-crazy after getting out of the hospital. I not only couldn't drive ... but when someone DID drive me, the docs didn't even want me to sit in the front seat! I had my chest stapled together and the staples ran from my dang belly-button up to my adams apple. The doc told me if I sat in the front seat and we had a little fender-bender ... the airbag going off would most likely kill me.

On both of our vehicles, you can disable the passenger side airbag, but not for the driver's side .... so I definitely couldn't drive. It wouldn't have been so bad if Lynn wasn't working ... but I was stuck here staring at the walls.

Hang in there ... you'll be good as new before you know it!
