    Day'um tornado just passed over....

    Confirmed sighting by leo's about 2 miles southwest of me, and moved northeast....sounded like it passed right over our house, but no touch-down....we had about 2 minutes to get into the tornado shelter....the dayum wind got so bad, it blew the steel door shut, just as I entered, after my wife....it hit me square in the side of my noggin....got a big ole goose egg, but luckily, I'm pretty hard-headed.

    Weird weather....2 weeks ago, record-breaking lows....this week, record-breaking highs....in the 80's, today.

    Man be careful.... I was taken up in a F-4 once and woke up a couple of days later in the hospital DAMN LUCKY to be alive.
    Those things are nasty! We are suppose to get that line of bad storms tonight and tomorrow.
    On a side note about the weather. This time last week we had a foot of snow. Today we had a big rabbit hunt and had to quit about noon as it was above 80 degrees and so hot you could not wear enough clothes to get in the briars. The dogs gave out about noon too.

    Ditto on the rabbit hunt, Cap....we hunted Tues. and the dogs were over-heated in less than 2 hours....only managed 8 big swampers.

    We got 8 cottontails today. Did not get a Bluetail.. But we only got to hunt about 3 hours and the dogs were toast.

    Came through here about 4am. Lots of HARD rain. The weather radio went off, but no big winds that I noticed at the time. Went back to bed. We shall see if there's any storm damage after daylight.

    According to the radar map. It should be to Cap's place pretty soon. Make sure your hatches are battened down!
