Activists push Facebook to ban gun sales
Groups claim that the social network and its sister site Instagram facilitate questionable, and perhaps illegal, trading and selling of weapons.
I never had any idea there was an active gun trading section on Facebook.
Can anyone post up a URL for facebook's gun trading pages?
I've never seen one anywhere on Facebook but that doesn't mean they aren't there. Facebook would be the last place I'd say anything about even how many I own.

I belong to a half dozen "groups" dedicated to sporting equipment (mostly gun) sales on Facebook.
A lot of guys here in Iowa and even on individual sales, are requiring a purchase permit or a CCW. Probably not a bad plan for people you don't know.

I see guns on our local FB 'yard sale' pages all the time.
Wow, Y'all see stuff on there I don't ever see. I didn't even know there was a yard sale page.
I just go on there to see pictures of Len's cats.

I'm a member of several groups (all local) that sell and swap guns, knifes and general hunting, fishing and camping stuff.
