Been a tough winter on critters here. I looked out today and there was a 'possum wandering across the yard in broad daylight. I had the Mach II sitting on the back porch - but the season is closed so I couldn't shoot him.I slid the kitchen window open (just to get a better look) and all of a sudden he just keeled over.
I went out later to pitch him over the river bank and he was nothing but head, hide and a bare tail. I know they are tough but he was about to starve to death.
