    Lake Co9 bluegill !

We decided to take a break before my treatments begin. We ran down to the farm yesterday morning for a little fishing expedition.

Di an I both caught a few bass. My biggest surprise was this slab Copper Nosed Bluegill that bit on the 1st cast of the day.

That's a nice little slab! The Lake Co9 fishies seem to have growed up.

In 2010 (I think) we stocked in 3000 CNB of various sizes to provide some additional forage for the bass.

Di landed a pretty nice one too. We we using the same kind of spinner rig that I was using up at Cap'n's place when I caught that big bass on my "snoopy rod".

I am hoping to be able to pull some of the bass and cats out of there this year. Is got to be getting a little crowded in there.

Catching hand-sized bluegill is big fun. Nice one Co9.

A titty bream is a bream so big you cannot reach around him with one hand to hold him and take the hook out. So you have to tuck him under your arm next to your titty to hold him to take the hook out.
