    Big nasty birds

Son and I took a kid hunting on youth weekend. Gobbler got by us Sat, kid killed him Sunday. Last Sat. was the opener for us and was Allens turn to be the shooter. Kilt a good un 10 minutes before sunrise. This morning we worked two for an hour and doubled at 8:30 AM. Been good so far. Can't post pics from phone. I'll text pics to Cappy an maybe he can post em.

    Nice lookin' birds there, Boog!!!

The GA turkey season opens TODAY!!!!
Reckon I'm gonna be missing this one.
Runs until mid-May.....maybe I can snipe another one like I did back in 2011 before I got sick, if I'm lucky.

IF I can sit in the blind for that long!!!

Nicely done. Just a bit of sporadic gobbling on the roost here.. We don't open until the middle of April but but the way it's shaping up the toms may still be bunched up then. Supposed to be back in the 20s for lows the next several days.
If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.
