    Hey Sunshine

Do you live anywhere near where that massive mudslide struck?

    Nope!!!
    Its a real sad situation.

They did find a family dog, chocolate lab, alive today.
Its back with the boy and the mom. Father is still missing.
Dog looks traumatized. Hope they had the vet check it for internal injuries.

Finding more people that were driving in that area when it happened. Going to be more.

Still holding hope they will find people alive, but it's been cold at night and rain now coming in for the next 6 days.

River is backing up, from being blocked, and everyone down river is evacuating, especially since more rain coming.

6-8 house upstream are flooding, because of the water backing up.

This hill slid several years ago and three people died.
Supposibly the hill was reinforced so something like this wouldn't happen.

Can't fault anyone. That hill and many around here can't take a water load of 7 inches in a month.
Mostly sand on top of hard pan clay.

    Just real sad situation.
I'm sure more hillsides are going to come down with this next rain system that's coming in tomorrow.
