    Boat Wiring Question.......

    When a boat is "wired" for a trolling motor, what gauge wire is typically used?
    I would imagine "the bigger the better" up to a point.
    My "disability" does not make me "disabled".

    Unless you are running it a long way 10 ga. will be plenty. 8 if you just want to feel good.
    I use 10 and put an inline fuse of about 15 amp.
    Be sure to coat all connections with LIQUID electrical tape.
