    I almost killed a turkey

Cappy, it's 5:48 over here, and if you hurry you might get it. It's on the north side of Hwy 49 just east of the Lake Wylie bridge (state line). Five minutes ago, it was still standing there.

Sorta skinny, but dunno how desperate you are!

    Just lettin' ya know!

Just a thought but do they have turkey decoys by the sides of the roads like they do deer ones to attract the Big Sky's of the world?

I'm on turkey sidelines and maybe due a doctor visit if I cannot get this leg/knee moving.
I hunting this morning and had a gobbler a few hundred yards away and started closing the gap on him and just could not walk that far.
Good thing I 'nannered them pretty good the first week.
I may have to finish out my season hunting them like deer, just sit and wait on them to come by.
Going to them is not an option right now.
