This alligator snapper was actually caught in Lake Eufala, Ok on a rod and reel and was released. I figure this guy must be related to Captain since he just HAD to pick it up.

Neat pic and no, I wouldn't pick that monster up! Used to catch lots of snappers when I was a kid but just the regular kind. No 'alligators' in southern Ontario.
holy sweet jaysus... No way I would get near that thing. I feel about snappers the same way BS feels about snakes.

Yep I'd been on him like white on rice. Never seen a snake of snapper I would no pick up for a quick picture.
